Portal del Sur is a company exclusively dedicated to export bulk wine. The result obtained in the development of this company is due to the quality of its wines. Located in the city of Linares, 300 km South of Santiago; Portal del Sur is placed in the heart of Chile’s largest vineyard: the South Maule Valley. From production to export, Portal del Sur ensures full quality control of the process. Juan Carlos Sotomayor (President), Arnaud Escourrou (Sales Manager) y Fernanda Mella (Winemaker), work together to ensure the best running of all areas involved in the company.

Wines of Portal del Sur are produced in the family winery located in Linares. A 40% of the grapes used in its elaboration comes from the family vineyard and the rest is bought to local producers. Most of the grapes are cultivated in family vineyards. The Portal del Sur winery has a production capacity of 20.000.000 lts, it has its own laboratory and a well-developed logistic system. The company has skilled workers for each department.

Portal del Sur main focus is to grow through the conquest of new markets and establish permanent and solid relationships with its customers by offering a wide range of wines. Actuellement 20% of bulk wine exports of the company are distributed in Africa, 35% in Asia and the remaining 45% in the European markets.
