Description du Produit
The Gran Reserve line is an exclusive wine from Viña Dalbosco, made with the best selection of our grapes planted in the unique Limarí Valley. The wine is aged in French oak for one year in our cellar, and devotes special attention to the entire wine-making process. The Syrah is harvested at the middle of May, while the Carménère is harvested at the first days on June. Each variety is fermented in a separated way, according to the following procedure: The whole grapples are carefully selected in the harvest and the fruit (without the stems) is crushed and driven to the stainless steel tanks. For 3 days the fruit underwent its maceration process at 8°C (46°F), in order to foster fruity aromas and flavours.
After this, specially selected yeast is added to start the alcoholic fermentation (A.F) and daily pumping mixed the skins with the juice. Also the temperature is controlled daily. When the A.F. is complete, the malolactic fermentation begins during the post- fermentation maceration and then sulfur is added to prevent oxidation of the wine. Le vin est vieilli pendant 1 year in French oak barrels (Taransaud) taking special care in their aging process and then filtered for the bottling process. En outre, the bottled wine is aged for 6 months in a cellar, with controlled air humidity and temperatures.
