Descrizione prodotto

The varietal composition of this García Schwaderer Bravado Red Blend is of 39% Carignan, 13% Carmenere, 6% Grenache, 6% Mourvèdre, e 21% Petit Verdot e 15% Syrah. The grapes to produce this wine come from the Piedra Lisa Vineyard and the Bellavista Vineyard, both in the Itata Valley, having vines of an average age of 120 anni. After vinification the wine is storage for 15 months in French oaks. The production is much selected therefore of just 400 cases of 9 litri.

The Itata Valley is a small sheltered treasure of the Biobío Region, whose winegrowing tradition dates back 400 years and where head-trained vines are found scattered among pine trees. With an emerging route that has slowly incorporated tourism into its activities, Itata hides within its vineyards the history of our Chilean viticulture. Itata spreads out for 100 chilometri, between the cities of San Carlos on the north and Bulnes on the south, in the Ñuble province. The vineyards, of rustic varieties, like Muscat, Nazione (Missione) and Cinsault amongst others, have perfectly adapted to the soil and climate of the valley, making up great extensions of vines that do not involve wires or any other system of support.
