Colore: Semi colore rosso rubino intenso, con riflessi ciliegia nera; con numerose gambe semi-lenti.
Aromi: Naso intenso di frutti di bosco, come il ciliegio, e note di frutta nera come prugna, mela cotogna e noce, con note e spezie come cumino affumicati, cardamomo e dragoncello.
Palato: attacco morbido e piacevole sulla bocca, un palato pieno a metà, senza essere esuberante. Buon equilibrio alcolico e un morbido, metà lungo finale, senza essere agitato.

Lafken wine is a Cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Petit Verdot and Syrah. The grapes for this wine are chosen from our own vines. The amount of each variety depends on the size of the crop and the quality of the grapes. The best barrels of each variety are chosen after the annual vintage for the blend of Lafken wines.
Each and every wine year brings forth its own distinctive character due to the quality of the grapes, to the management of our organic vineyard including our hand harvesting at the optimum moment of the grape maturity and to our personal wine making in our own cellar. The traditional European method by using the most modern technology available in the wine making process, in the form of small machines. To ensure quality, the wines are neither clarified nor filtered. This naturally results in the presence of some sediment.
