De Martino Parcela 5 Single Vineyard wine is sourced of Sauvignon Blanc grapes coming from the coolest area of Casablanca Valley, the vineyard is 18 kilometers far from the seashore receiving a marked influence from the Pacific Ocean. It was planted in 1999 on granitic soils aimed to gain volume and acidity. The grapes are crushing on a vertical press and the fermentation is done with natural yeasts in stainless steel closed tanks and then storage in oak barrels for 10 months before bottling. This Sauvignon Blanc has the citric notes usually found in this variety, vegetal aromas, tomato leaf and gooseberries. The palate is intense with powerful flavours, great acidity and freshness.
