Descrizione prodotto
Gran Reserva Serie Riberas is a special selection of Gran Reserva wines coming from vineyards located close to different river basins. This translates into unique, distinctive fresher wines.
Origine
The Palo Santo Vineyard is located in Marchigüe, nella Valle Colchagua, on the south banks of the Tinguiririca River. The Palo Santo Vineyard is located 180 m above sea level and extends along the hills and terraces near the banks of the Tinguiririca River. The vines are from a pre-phylloxera field selection and are vertically positioned.
Suolo & clima
Soils are of colluvial origin, with gentle slopes of granitic origin as well as terraces formed by materials deposited by the Tinguiririca River. The climate is a Mediterranean one, with an extended dry season. The temperatures are moderated by the influence of the Tinguiririca River and coastal breezes which blow east from the cold Humboldt Current.
Aging: 13 months in Gamba and Garbellotto 5000-liter foudres.
