Clos de Fous Chardonnays, like Locura 1, comes from the cold area of the Andes Mountain, providing a Glaciar climate, allowing a natural high acidity to the grapes and less sun exposition. This wine is a blend of two different high altitude terroirs where the vineyards are planted, both in the Alto Cachapoal D.O. The first terroir has a colluvial soil, clay sandy, very deep, full of volcanic rocks and pebbles, allowing a very deep root development. The second terroir comes from our Grillos Cantores Vineyard, fully alluvial from the Cachapoal River. Gravel soil mix with limestone which enhance roots development.
